J Margiotta Company is a produce wholesaler located in the NYC Terminal Market in the Hunts Point area of The Bronx. J Margiotta Company LLC was established in 2001, with James Margiotta at the helm. James, popularly known as Jimmy, was no stranger to the produce business because four generations of his family had been in the wholesale Produce business for over 110 years.
J Margiotta Company is committed to the same traditional family values and is proud to note that it has greatly expanded its produce lines and inventory with the introduction of J Margiotta International.The company is importing items from South America, Mexico, China, and the Carribean with plans to continue expansion as it serves it’s buyers.
Our current inventory has a vast range from “apples to zucchini” as they say in the produce business. We do our best to focus on what is right, when it’s right. Maintaining the right quality is the way we help strengthen our relationships all the way from farm to the shelf of the supermarket or the kitchen of a resturant.
